Emre Hocaoğlu was born in 1977 in Istanbul. He graduated from Private Doğuş Anatolian High School in 1995 and from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of English Medicine in 2001. Between 2001 and 2007, he studied Specialization in Medicine, Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine; He completed his studies in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He worked as a Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist at Çorlu Military Hospital between 2007-2008 and at Karabük State Hospital between 2008-2010. Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, where he started to work as a Specialist Physician in 2010; He became Associate Professor in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 2014. Its award-winning clinical practices and numerous scientific studies have been accepted in the most important scientific journals of plastic surgery. As a result of this high level of knowledge and experience, in January 2017, a review on microsurgery was published in a scientific journal called "Clinics in Plastic Surgery", where only the studies of specially invited scientists were published. Emre Hocaoğlu continues his professional life, especially focusing on maxillofacial surgery, breast surgery and skin cancer surgery. He is married and has two children.
